“Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.” – Bilbo Baggins
First Snake Bite…
… Of the season here in Arizona, but luckily it wasn’t me. The weather is wonderful here (at least to this New Englander’s built in thermostat).
As far as a quick update; I am in Holbrook, Arizona, working on a couple of blogs before heading to the Rockies. Spent yesterday in the Petrified Forest, and now working on my El Paso blog. Hopefully, It will be available tomorrow night (that would be mountain time?).
So what is it this Nomad listens to on the road? Well, I have quite an eclectic taste, but I found that this classic rock set does just fine to keep the MPH at 75-80. Of course, the cruise control works great out here, and you pretty must drive in a straight line. That means, watch the mirrors and rock out.
Hit Shuffle, Play Loud…
Back in Beantown… well more post 70’s then this, but when driving in a straight line through the desert… at a loud volume… this seems to work great for a desert whose name I don’t always know.
Please don’t think any less of me….. 🙂 Peace!… and thanks to everyone following me.. it means a lot!
